PRAYER:

This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.11.2015 in relating to issuance of patta for dwelling house.

ORDER

Based upon prolonged possession, allegedly from the time of his grandfather over the property situated in Survey No. 387 at Arasiramani Village, Sankari Taluk, Salem District, a request was made by the petitioner for issuance of Patta through a representation dated 04.11.2015. Since the said representation is pending consideration, seeking to expedite the same, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Considering the fact stated above, and taking note of the pendency of the representation of the petitioner dated 04.11.2015, the respondent No. 4 is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and third parties, if any.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
