ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.C.Kanagaraju, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.K.Karthik Jagannathan, learned Government Advocate, appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.N.S.Suganthan, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the first respondent be directed to form a committee of officers as per the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 to enquire into the affairs of the Sarkar Kathakanni Village Panchayat and thereby to initiate appropriate action against respondents 3 and 4. According to the learned counsel, respondents 3 and 4 collected money on the ground that drinking water connection would be provided to every house separately. The learned counsel further submits that information sought under the Right to Information Act is also not properly provided.

3. There is nothing on record to substantiate the contention of the petitioner. Not a single document is placed to prove any malpractice. In the absence thereof, the petition cannot be entertained.

4. If the petitioner can give specific details, then the petitioner can agitate in respect of the same.

5. The writ petition as such is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
