The Contempt Petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondents herein for their willful and deliberate disobedience of the order of this Court dated 28.05.2020 passed in WMP.No.9166/2020 in W.P.No.7776/2020.

When the matter was called today, learned Additional Advocate General-VIII appearing for the respondents would state that the order of direct payment passed by the Directorate of District Educational Officer, Sendurai, Ariyalur District, having been withdrawn, the Contempt Petition has become infructuous.

Recording the same, the Contempt Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Sub-Application is also closed.
