ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to act upon the complaint given by the petitioner, wherein, the petitioner has sought for police protection.
2.The learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, an FIR has been registered in Crime No.556 of 2020 by considering the fire incident as an accidental fire.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the fire was caused by miscreants who are known to the petitioner and the petitioner will give the names of the miscreants who will have to be made as accused persons in this case and it is not a case of accidental fire.
4. The learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, in reply to this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
submission, stated that even though the FIR has been registered as an accidental fire, if during the investigation, any material is collected against the accused persons, necessary alteration will be made and a report will be filed before the concerned Court.
5. The learned counsel submitted that the respondent Police will conduct an effective investigation in this case.
6. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to proceed further with the investigation and complete the same as expeditiously as possible and file a report before the concerned Court. 7.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
