O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 28.03.2025, seeking to cancel the patta issued in favour of the third respondent.

2. It is the claim of the petitioner that the patta has been wrongly issued in the name of the 3rd respondent for the properties which are owned by the petitioner. In this regard, he has filed an appeal before the 1st respondent seeking to cancel the patta issued in the name of the third respondent and the appeal has not been decided and it is kept pending.

3. The Learned Government Advocate for the respondents, on instructions submitted that, the appeal will be considered on merits and final orders will be passed within time fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to to pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner, on merits in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner and the third respondent.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
