O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.60 of 2011 and to file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Crime No.60 of 2011 has been completed and final report is ready. Since the Apex Court has granted stay of all further proceedings before the Special Court for Land Grabbing cases, the police have not filed the final report.

4. Under such circumstances, the respondent Police is directed to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, the same shall be taken on file by the jurisdictional Magistrate and pass orders thereon.
