With the consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard Mr.G.Ilamurugu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.L.P.Shanmugha Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. This writ petition has been filed praying to direct the second respondent to consider the appeal of the petitioner dated 17/3/2015 and consequent additional grounds raised by the petitioner dated 7/10/2015 which are now pending before the second respondent and to consider the same.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and on instruction submits that the Appeal Petition will be considered and disposed of, within a period of five weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader on instructions is placed on record.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent, to consider the petitioner's Appeal Petition dated 17/3/2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and after taking into consideration the additional grounds dated 7/10/2015, within a period of five weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
