The writ petition has been filed to quash the order of the first respondent in C.No.62/PR/DCP(L&O)/TRC/2014 dated 15.10.2014.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed an appeal before the second respondent on 12.11.2014, aggrieved over the order of the first respondent dated 15.10.2014. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is given to the second respondent to dispose of the appeal on merits and in accordance with law and the petitioner may be permitted to raise additional grounds in the appeal.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.P.I.Thirumoorthy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.Though the petitioner has prayed for larger relief, this Court, considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 12.11.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and also taking into account additional grounds if any raised in the meanwhile and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. In the meanwhile, the petitioner is permitted to raised additional grounds in the appeal proceedings.
