The petitioner made a representation dated 24.11.2015 to the respondent seeking cancellation of patta said to have been issued in favour of one Mohanraj. In the said representation, the petitioner has made reliance upon the judgment and decree rendered in O.S.No.185 of 1988 on the file of District Munsif's Court, Ponneri. The petitioner is also said to have purchased the property from the person in whose favour the decree was passed. Seeking a direction to the respondent take appropriate action on the said representation dated 24.11.2015, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

Though the petitioner has rushed to this Court without even giving time to the respondent to react considering the representation made, in view of the submission made by the learned counsel for petitioner that the respondent may be directed to look into the representation of the petitioner dated 24.11.2015 and take appropriate action, a direction is hereby issued to the respondent to consider the pending representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a perid oof eight weeks from the date of receipt of A copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and Mohanraj, in whose favour the patta is stated to have been issued. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
