This writ petition is filed for issuing a direction to the 2nd respondent to issue patta in respect of petitioner's land measuring an extent of 150 sq.ft. comprised in Survey No.338/3, Thellur Village, Anaicut Taluk, Vellore District.

2. The petitioner has submitted a representation in this regard on 12.04.2016. Though the petitioner has produced before this court a document of sale to claim ownership over the property, there is no corresponding patta filed before this court by the petitioner to show that petitioner's vendor had patta for the property. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner will produce https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

necessary documents before the Tahsildar, if he calls the petitioner for an enquiry.

3. In these circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits of petitioner's representation or the case before this court, the second respondent is directed to consider petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after holding an enquiry, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there is no order as to cost.
