Respondents PRAYER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, Directing the Chairman Tamil Nadu Wakf Board, Jaffer Sarang Street, Vallai Seethakathi Nagar, Chennai-01, the 1st respondent herein to annex the mosque known as Madeena Masjid & Madrasa-E-Rahmaniya functioning at No.125/1, Kandan Street, Urapakkam, Chengalpet Taluk Kancheepuram District as a Wakf property and consequently appoint office bearers inclusive of Muthavalli for the said mosque and similarly refer the matter to the Superintendent of Police, Kancheepuram District for taking action against the respondents 3 to 9 for their excesses having indulged in fraud.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner, through Video-Conferencing, made a submission that the cause arose for the purpose of filing of the writ petition became vanished. Thus, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in this writ petition.

2. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
