O R D E R

In pursuant to the settlement deed dated 3.5.2012 executed in favour of the petitioner, the petitioner sought for issuance of patta in respect of the property situated at Seevaram village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Kanchipuram District, South Chennai Registration District, Neelangari South Registration District, comprised in Survey No.51/1A, New Survey No.51/1A1A, bearing plot No.2B, measuring an extent of 13 cents out of 26 cents, by making an application dated 20.11.2013 to the respondent. It was followed by another application dated 12.10.2015. As despite the same, no action is forthcoming from the respondent, the present writ petition is filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

Taking into consideration the pendency of the applications of the petitioner seeking patta, a direction is issued to the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the applications dated 20.11.2013 and 12.10.2015 made by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and third parties concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
