Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 20.03.2025 and to pay the last drawn monthly wages inclusive of any maintenance allowance to the Petitioner with consequential benefits as per Section 17-B of the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 for the period the Petitioner was kept out of service.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.03.2025, and to pay the last drawn monthly wages, inclusive of any maintenance allowance, to the petitioner, with consequential benefits as per Section 17-B of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, for the period the petitioner was kept out of service."

2. It appears that on 20.03.2025, the petitioner has addressed a letter to the respondent requesting them to pay the arrears under Section 17-B of the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947. The said letter has been received by the respondent on 21.03.2025 as per the tracking consignment which has been annexed to the typed set of papers. 2/4

Considering the fact that this writ petition is filed only seeking consideration of the petitioner's representation dated 20.03.2025, the respondent shall consider and pass orders within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that it is not a simplicitor consideration of the writ petition, it is needless to state that while passing orders, the respondent shall take note of relevant facts. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
