ORDER

The petitioner herein given a representation to the respondent police on 22.01.2024 to delete his name from the list of History Sheeter vide H.S.No.351 of 2013.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that 11 criminal cases are pending against this petitioner. The last case was registered on 28.05.2024 in Cr.No.254 of 2024 by Tusi Police Station, Thiruvannamalai District for offences under Section 379, 430 IPC and 21(1) of Mines and Minerals Act. The list of cases pending against the petitioner are as below:

1. Dusi PS Cr.No.615 of 2009 under Sections 147, 148,341,324, 307 IPC-PT

2. Dusi PS Cr.No.200 of 2010 under Sections 147, 148,341,120(b), 324, 201, 203, 205, 302 IPC-PT

3. Dusi PS Cr.No.333 of 2014 under Sections 147, 148,341, 324, 307 IPC r/w 3(1)(r) SC&ST Act-PT

4. Dusi PS Cr.No.391/2014 under Sections 392, 397 IPC-PT

5. Brammadesam PS Cr.No.274/2016 under Sections 399 IPC-NTF

6. Dusi PS Cr.No.769/2018 under Sections 294(b), 506(i) IPC-NTF

7. Dusi PS Cr.No.599/2019 under Sections 379, 430 IPC r/w 21(1)MM Act-UI

8. Dusi PS Cr.No.1331/2020 under Sections 379, 430 IPC r/w 21(1)MM Act-UI

3. In the light of the fact indicating that the petitioner is a habitual offender and had been continuously committing offence which has brought to the adverse notice of the police, there is no reason to direct the respondent police to delete her name from the history sheeter.

4. With the above observation, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
