Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 21.10.2014 wherein the petitioner requested the 1st respondent not to provide any electricity connection in the name of the 3rd respondent or any other person in respect of the following properties i) Door No.15/16 New Door No.110/61 Bazaar Road Mylapore Chennai 600 004 ii) Door No.33 New Door No.43 Arundale Street Mylapore Chennai 600 004 iii) Door No.17 New Door No.47 Arundale Street Mylapore Chennai 4 iv) Door No.45 Arunale Street Mylapore Chennai 600 004.

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is not to provide electricity service connection to the 3rd respondent.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent TANGEDCO made a submission that the service connection had already been provided in the premises of the petitioner and therefore no further adjudication is required. In view of the fact that electricity service connection has already been provided, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
