This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking consideration of the representation said to have been made by the petitioner on 10.11.2007 to the respondents, wherein it has been stated that patta has been wrongly given in favour of the 3rd respondent for the property situated in Survey No.153/20 with an extent of 13 cents Urappakkam village On receipt of the said representation, an enquiry was directed to be conducted by the 2nd respondent in pursuant to the proceedings dated 30.1.2009 of the 1st respondent. The 2nd respondent has also directed the Revenue Inspector, Guduvancherry, Chengalpattu Taluk to conduct enquiry and send report to the 2nd respondent. As despite the same no further progress is having been made, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. Considering the facts of the case, and taking into consideration of the enquriy as ordered by the 1st respondent, dated 30.1.2009, a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to conclude the enquiry and pass appropriate orders after affording an opportunity to the petitioner and the the 3rd respondent, in whose favour the patta stands as of now.
