As against the order of the 2nd respondent dated 22.1.2014, the petitioner approached the 1st respondent by filing appeal on 27.1.2014. A writ petition was filed by the petitioner in W.P.No.2899 of 2015, which has been disposed of on 6.2.2015 by directing a wrong authority viz., the District Revenue Officer, Tambaram. Thus, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that such direction ordered in the said writ petition will have to be made applicable to the 1st respondent herein.

2. Considering the above, the 1st respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the pending appeal dated 27.1.2014 of the petitioner, after affording an opportunity to the parties concerned within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
