O R D E R
Heard Mr.K.Myilsamy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.S.K.Rameshwar, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to forbear the respondent authorities from disconnecting agricultural electricity service connection bearing SC.No.312009-92 in respect of petitioner comprised in S.Nos.155/1A, 155/1C, 155/1B, 155/2A, 155/2B, 155/2C, 155/2D, 70/4, 73, 72, 54, 53, 52, 51, 70/2 situated at north Shankarmanallur Village, Mylapuram, Udumalpet, Tiruppur District. The apprehension of the petitioner is that the agricultural service connection will be disconnected without notice to the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 09.11.2015.
3. In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the fourth and fifth respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 09.11.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, the order of status quo prevailing as on date ( 21.12.2015) shall be maintained.
4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
