[Order of the court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.] The Petitioner, who is the mother of the detenue, viz. Vinodhini, has come up with this Petition, seeking production of the detenue.

This is a case of elopement of the detenue viz. Vinodhini with one Rajesh @ Rahman.

As the detenue is a major, we do not find any illegal detention involved in this case. However, the Respondent/Police is directed to proceed with the investigation and shall make endeavors to secure the presence of the detenue, and as and when the detenue is found, she shall be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
The Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
