Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing both respondents to consider the petitioner applications dated 07.06.2012 and 11.07.2012 with respect to appoint her (widow) as a Anganwadi Worker at Alangarmangalam Village, Kalasapakkam Union, in Thiruvannamalai District.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the applications of the petitioner, dated 07.06.2012 and 11.07.2012, and to appoint her as an Anganwadi Worker, at Alangarmangalam Village, Kalasapakkam Union, in Thiruvannamalai District, under the 'widow' category.

3. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that an interview had been held, with regard to the selection of the candidates, to be appointed as the Anganwadi Worker, at Alangarmangalam Village, Kalasapakkam Union, in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Thiruvannamalai District, and that the appointment had also been made, in the year, 2012, itself.

4. In such circumstances, the relief prayed for, by the petitioner, in the present Writ Petition, cannot be granted, at this stage. Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
