2. The learned counsel for the respondent contended that the application had been filed after the expiry of the mandate.
3. However, Considering the ratio laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court, that a Section 29A application is maintainable even after the expiry of the mandate, this Court finds no reason to refuse the extension of the mandate as sought for in this application. Accordingly, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate for a further period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned Arbitrator is requested to complete the proceedings and pass an Award within the said period of six(6) months and the respective parties are also directed to co-operate with the learned Arbitrator.
4. This application is disposed of in the above terms. 24-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order mp A No. 2237 of 2026 __________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
