Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for records of the 3rd and 4th respondent herein in Bill Nos.909401 0808052001 dated 6.5.2020, 9094010808062001 dated 8.6.2020, 9094010808072001 dated 6.7.2020, 9094010808082002 dated 5.8.2020 and 9094010808092001

dated 7.9.2020 raised for petitioner's service connection No.099094010808 and consequential order no. Lr.No.SE/CEDC/S11/DFC/AAC/HT/AS/AS/F.C.C. Bill/D/ 348/20 dated 14.10.2020 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to issue fresh Bills for the period of lockdown, in terms of Regulation 6(b) of the TN Electricity Supply Code and adjust the excess sums paid on 15.06.2020, 16.07.2020 and 13.08.2020 with future bills and further forbear the respondents herein from levying and collecting any sums in excessof Minimum Charges with respect to petitioner's service connection Nos.099094010808, during the period of lockdown i.e., 24.3.2020 till 01.09.2020 .

ORDER

The issue that has been raised in these present writ petition is covered by the orders passed by this Court in a batch of writ petitions in WP. Nos.7678, 7679, 9141, 9312, 9537, 9538, 9550, 10012, 10042, 10044, 10031, 9825, 9831, 10087, 10091, 10110, 10164, 8852 and 9689 of 2020 dated 14.08.2020. Consequently, the directions issued by this Court in the batch of writ petitions be equally applied to the present writ petition also.
