(CRIME NO.6/2021) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to (i) Extend the time to furnish sureties in the strength of order dated 13.05.2021 passed in Crl.M.P.No.5913/2021 in Crl.O.P.No.2358/2021 in Crime No.6/2021 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police and thus render justice. (ii) Extend the time to furnish solvent sureties in the strength of order dated 11.02.2021 passed in Crl.O.P.No.2358/2021 in Crime No.6/2021 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police and thus render justice.

Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S A.SARANRAJ, Advocate for the Petitioners [IN BOTH THE PETITIONS] and of MR. A.GOPINATH, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent [IN BOTH THE PETITIONS] the court made the following order:- Vide order dated 11.02.2021, this Court had granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners on certain conditions. This petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking further extension of time to furnish the sureties in the strength of the order dated 13.05.2021 passed in Crl.M.P.No.5913 of 2021.

2. Being satisfied with the reasons shown in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the prayer sought for by the petitioners deserves to be considered favourably.

3. Accordingly, time is extended by a further period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for the petitioners to furnish the sureties before the concerned Court. All other conditions remain unaltered.
