The petitioner is a retired Secondary Grade Teacher. The petitioner was given Selection Grade/Special Grade prior to 27.06.1989. According to the petitioner, she is eligible for refixation of Selection Grade/Special Grade in accordance with the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.304 Finance (Pay Commission) Department, dated 28.03.1990. The petitioner having found that the Government have extended the benefits to similarly situated teachers by issuing order in G.O.Ms.No.69 Education Department, dated 18.04.2013 submitted a representation dated 12.11.2014 requesting the respondents to consider her case. Since follow up action was not taken by the respondents, the petitioner is before this Court.
2. The question as to whether the petitioner is eligible to the benefits conferred on the parties as per the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.69 Education Department, dated 18.04.2013 is essentially an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
issue to be decided by the Director of Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department.
3. The Director, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 12.11.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
