This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to remove the clench on bank account bearing No.6119940925 and pay all pending dues arising from the fixed deposit along with interest to the petitioner.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's father has a savings account with the respondents Bank and after the death of the petitioner's father, the respondents Bank have withheld the amount lying in the savings account. Thereby, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that if the petitioner and other legal heirs make an application for transfer of bank account or closure of bank account and payment of all pending dues arising from the fixed deposit along with interest, along with Legal Heir Certificate, the same will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, the petitioner is directed to make an application for transfer of bank account or closure of bank account and payment of all pending dues, along with the Legal Heir Certificate to show that he is the legal heir of late Ramanujam, along with KYC Form and on receipt of the application, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
