Respondents PetitionS filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of the representations dated 12.11.2014, 25.04.2013, 25.04.2013, 25.04.2013 respectively submitted by the petitioners for including the name of the petitioners in the annexure to G.O.Ms.No.69 Education Department, dated 18.04.2013. For Petitioners : Ms.C.Uma For Respondents : Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi Addl.Govt.Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioners are retired Secondary Grade Teachers. The petitioners were given Selection Grade/Special Grade prior to 27.06.1989. According to the petitioners, they are eligible for refixation of Selection Grade/Special Grade in accordance with the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.304 Finance (Pay Commission) Department, dated 28.03.1990.

The petitioners having found that the Government have extended the benefits to similarly situated teachers by issuing order in G.O.Ms.No.69 Education Department, dated 18.04.2013 submitted representations dated 12.11.2014 in W.P.No.4034/2015 and 25.04.2013 in W.P.Nos.4035 to 4037/2015 requesting the respondents to consider their case. action was not taken by the respondents, the petitioners are before this Court.

2. The question as to whether the petitioners are eligible to the benefits conferred on the parties as per the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.69 Education Department, dated 18.04.2013 is essentially an issue to be decided by the second respondent.

3. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioners dated 12.11.2014 in W.P.No.4034/2015 and 25.04.2013 in W.P.Nos.4035 to 4037/2015 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
