The wife seeks transfer of IDOP No.3113 of 2021 pending on the file of the I Additional Family Court, Chennai to the Family Court, Tuticorin.

2. The transfer is sought for solely on the ground of convenience of the wife who is residing at Tuticorin.

3. Mr.V.Balu, learned counsel appearing for the respondent/ husband would submit that the husband is actually employed in Bombay and he cannot travel to Tuticorin for every hearing before the Family Court. He would also contend that the husband has underwent surgery recently.

4. Considering the overall circumstances, I am of the opinion that the proceedings could be transferred to a neutral https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

venue where the parties need not appear for every hearing. Accordingly, IDOP No.3113 of 2021 is withdrawn from the file of the I Additional Family Court, Chennai and transferred to the Principal District Court, Madurai. This arrangement would be convenient to both the parties where they can engage counsels to contest the proceedings for regular hearings and they can appear only for essential hearings. This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
