ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.50 lakhs to the petitioner on account of the death of petitioner's son Venkatasubramanian, who was a student of II year B.E., with the third respondent's Engineering College.

2. The petitioner had sent a representation to the third respondent on 17.02.2014, to pay a compensation of Rs.50,00,000/- on account of the death of the petitioner's son on 04.10.2013. On the same date i.e., on 04.10.2013, a case was also registered in F.I.R.No.634 of 2013 wherein, 2/4

it has been stated that the cause of death was on account of suicide. Whether the petitioner is entitled for compensation on account of his son's death by the official respondents or the third respondent cannot be decided by this Court as several disputed questions of facts arises for consideration.

3. Therefore, It is in an appropriate forum, in which, the petitioner will have to work out the remedy. Considering the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings for compensation from the official respondents or the third respondent herein either jointly or severally for claiming compensation.

No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
