ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the Corporation of Chennai to close the storm water drainage and to re-lay the road at 6th street, Venus Nagar, Kolathur, Chennai - 600 099.
2. When the matter came up for admission on 23.06.2023, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents took notice and sought for time to take instructions.
3. Accordingly, the matter was posted for hearing today.
4. The learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, submitted that the storm water drainage will be closed within a period of two weeks and re-laying of the road will also be completed within the time frame fixed by this Court.
4. Taking into consideration the submission of the learned Standing Counsel, the entire process shall be completed by the respondent Corporation within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date 2/4
of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of on above terms. No costs.
