Seeking issuance of Patta, the petitioner made a representation on 25.08.2015 to the respondent No. 1, with reference to land being 1 Acre 12 cents in Survey No. 503/2, situated at Pal Pannai Cheri Village, Nagoor Revenue Village, Nagapattinam District. On receipt of the same, the respondent No. 1, in and by proceedings in O.Mu.18608/2015/AA4, dated 10.09.2015, directed the respondent No. 2 to take appropriate action and inform the petitioner. As no further action is forthcoming on the part of the respondent No. 2, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. Considering the above and without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent No. 2 to comply with the memo dated 10.09.2015, issued by the respondent No. 1 in O.Mu.18608/2015/AA4, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and third parties, if any.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
