This Writ Petition has been filed against the order dated 19.06.2018 transferring the petitioner to Government High School at Bevanatham, Houser Block and for a consequential direction to continue the petitioner in the Kaveripattinam Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Krishnagiri District. 2.
During the course of hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier he worked in Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Kaveripattinam, Krishnagiri District. But according to the teachers-students ratio was found it surplus in the staff fixation and as such, the petitioner was transferred to Government High School at Bevanatham, Krishnagiri District. The learned counsel further submits that at present, the petitioner was working in the Government High School, Jagadap, Kaveripattinam Block from 22.02.2022 by transfer of appointment conducted by counselling method.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents also submits that in view of the subsequent transfer effected from 22.02.2022 nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication and sought to dismiss this writ petition as infructuous.

In view of the above factual position, in my considered view nothing survives in this writ petition and accordingly, it is liable to be dismissed as infructuous.
