This application is filed seeking to extend the period of the Arbitral Tribunal by further period of six months from 16.06.2019.

2. Heard Mr.A.Narayanan, learned counsel appearing for the applicant and Mr.P.Chandrasekar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. Earlier, vide order dated 06.12.2017, this Court had appointed Mr.P.V.Balasubramanian, Advocate as sole Arbitrator. It is stated that the arguments are over and the learned Arbitrator has to pass an award. As the mandate of the Tribunal has expired, the present application has been filed.

4. Accordingly, with the consent of learned counsel on both sides, time is extended by one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the parties are directed to co-operate for completion of the proceedings and enable the tribunal to pass an award.

5. This application is ordered, accordingly.
