This writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the Charge Memo in Charge Memo No.062/A.Na/2023 dated 06.03.2023 issued by the 1st Respondent against the petitioner and consequently direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue her service in Science City, Directorate of Technical Education Campus, Chennai - 600 025.

2. The charges against the petitioner is that she has been appointed against the Rules and even obtained relevant driving license without knowing driving and she has suppressed the same and got the appointment. Besides, she has also brought political influence to the office and is also making allegations of sexual harassment against the officials.

3. The impugned charge memo has been challenged on the ground that charge memo has been issued after a long period of time.

4. The petitioner was appointed temporarily as Office Assistant cum Driver and thereafter, she was appointed as the Office Assistant from 23.06.2008 onwards. Thereafter, the charge memo was issued, she has also given a detailed reply and now it appears that the enquiry officer is also appointed.

5. Such view of the matter, since, the allegations appears to be serious in nature, let the disciplinary proceedings take its logical conclusions. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the respondents to conclude the disciplinary proceedings within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
