The petitioner made an application to the 2nd respondent seeking issuance of residence/nativity certificate. In view of the urgency expressed in the Affidavit filed in support of the petition headed for the post of Physical Education Teacher, the petitioner has come before this Court with a comprehensive prayer.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Admittedly, the application of the petitioner is pending consideration before the respondent No. 2. Since, the said authority has to consider the case of the petitioner, a direction is issued to the respondent No. 2 to consider and take appropriate decision on the pending application of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is also at liberty to produce relevant particulars before the respondent No. 2, in support of her request, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
