ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court dated 25.01.2021 passed in W.P.No.11945 of 2014.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to the filing of this contempt petition, the respondent filed W.A.No.2651 of 2021 as against the order passed in W.P.No.11945 of 2014 and the same was dismissed on 22.10.2021, the relevant passage of which, is usefully extracted hereunder: "8. As the time limit granted by the learned Single Judge has already expired, we direct the appellants to, instead of disposing of the representation dated 17.02.2014, pay the amount due to the first respondent / writ petitioner within 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Court. No costs. Connected C.M.P. is closed."

3. On the other side, the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent fairly submitted that the respondent would take action as directed by the Hon'ble Division Bench.

4. Recording the submissions so made on the either side, this contempt petition stands closed.
