ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner claims to have made a representation to the fourth respondent/District Collector of Kancheepuram District alleging that pattas have been issued in respect of the lake area. The learned Government Pleader submits that the representation of the petitioner already stands answered by the Tahsildar, Maduranthakam on 13.8.2015 to the effect that no pattas have been issued in any of the wet lands. The representation of the petitioner thus stands already answered and the relief prayed in this petition has become infructuous.

2. We may, however, add that the sixth respondent/Tahsildar, Maduranthakam may also look into the issue whether without issuing of any patta and in violation of the norms any construction is being made and ensure that there is no reclassification of the land whereby the wet lands and the lake areas may be converted into house sites.

3. The writ petition stands closed.

No costs.

Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2015 is closed.
