O R D E R

The writ petition is filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitoner dated 31.07.2015.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Assistant Salesman on 08.02.2004. While he was working at Shop No.1710, his father was suffering from serious illness, so he could not attend duty from 30.06.2012 to 31.12.2013. Despite best treatment, the petitioner's father died in the year 2013 and thereafter he was ready to join duty. However, the respondent issued a show cause notice dated 06.05.2015, for which the peittioner gave reply on 07.05.2015.

The petitioner sent his representation dated 31.07.2015 to reinstate him into service, since no order has been passed, the petitioner filed the present writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.K.Selvaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and M/s.B.Nedunchezhian, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.07.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
