The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the first respondent to commence and conduct selection afresh to the post of the Director NITTTR, Chennai, by calling the eligible https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

candidates duly adhering to the Advertisement in "The Hindu" dated 26.01.2014 and cancelling the selection already made on 16.06.2014 as invalid.

2.Today, when this matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. 3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
