O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 18.03.2022 as against the order passed by the 1st respondent dated 25.02.2022 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

Heard Ms.S.Varsha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Ravichandran, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents.

The petitioner was aggrieved by the order passed by the 1st respondent through proceedings dated 25.02.2022 wherein the 3rd parties had sought for the cancellation of the documents which were standing in the name of the petitioner and those documents were cancelled and aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the 2nd respondent. The appeal was pending and according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the appeal was heard by the 1st respondent and the enquiry was completed during February 2023. Even thereafter no orders were passed. Left with no other option, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to pass final orders in the appeal filed by the petitioner on 18.03.2022 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
