ORDER
The petitioner has approached this Court, seeking the following relief:- "Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation to the 4th respondent dated 25.05.2007, within a reasonable period."

The petitioner has purchased a house site in [Old] Survey Numbers 314/2 and 314/3 in her name measuring NorthSouth 40' and East-West 74' on the South and East-West 72' on the North in Kalinjure Village [Thirunagar], in all 2920 square feet. The property was purchased vide document No.2108 of 1984
on the file of the Sub Registrar, Katpadi 632 007. After purchase of the property, the petitioner had built apartments and a few shops after obtaining proper permision from the authorities. The petitioner requested the fourth respondent through his letter dated 25.05.2007, to issue a separate and individual Sub Division Patta in respect of the subject property. However, no action was forthcoming from the fourth respondent. Therefore, the petitioner preferred an appeal to the first respondent by representation dated 20.08.2007. According to the petitioner, in spite of several representations made by the petitioner, no proper response emanated from the authorities concerned. Therefore, the petitioner prayed this Court to dispose of the representation dated 25.05.
2007 by the fourth respondent, for surveying and measuring of the House Site Property as per Patta Nos.1905 and 1907 in Survey Nos.314/2A and 314/3A in Kalinjure Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District and issue a separate and individual Patta after the sub-division based on the Registered Document No.2108 of 1984 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Katpadi 632 007.
3. Upon notice, Mr.J.Pothiraj, the learned Special Government Pleader entered appearance and he would have no objection for a limited direction as sought for by the petitioner to the fourth respondent.
4. In the above said circumstances, the fourth respondent is directed to dispose of the representation said to have been filed by the petitioner dated 25.05.2007, by surveying and measuring of the House Site Property as prayed for in the writ petition and consider his request for grant of individual patta after the sub-division. In this regard, the petitioner is also directed to submit a fresh comprehenstive representation before the fourth respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such representation being made by the petitioner, the fourth respondent shall dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
