Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to pass an order direction directing the learned Principal Sessions Judge (Special Judge for SC & ST Act), Thiruvannamalai, Thiruvannamalai District to consider the bail application of the petitioners on their surrender in Crime No.1579 of 2020, pending on the file of the respondent police on the same day and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstance of the case.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been laid by the petitioners seeking direction to the Principal Sessions Judge (Special Judge for SC & ST Act), Thiruvannamalai, Thiruvannamalai District, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender in Crime No.1579/2020 on the file of the respondent police.
2. The petitioners are arrayed as accused in crime No.1579 of 2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 324, 354, 506(2) of IPC r/w 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of the Schedule Caste and the Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Attrocities) Amendment Act 2015. Now according to the petitioners, they have not committed the offences put forth against them and on account of the false case alleged against them, they are necessitated to seek for necessary directions.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice, I deem it fit to issue the following directions.
(i) The petitioners shall surrender before the the Principal Sessions Judge (Special Judge for SC & ST Act), Thiruvannamalai, Thiruvannamalai District, within 10 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
(ii) On the petitioners surrendering before the the Principal Sessions Judge (Special Judge for SC & ST Act), Thiruvannamalai, Thiruvannamalai District, and filing the bail application, the Principal Sessions Judge (Special Judge for SC & ST Act), Thiruvannamalai, Thiruvannamalai District, is directed to consider and dispose of the bail application as expeditiously as possible, preferably on the date of surrender in accordance with law.
4. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
