The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.05.2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 4(1)(a) r/w 4(1-A)ii of TNP Act, in Crime No.269 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that when the respondent and his team were on their regular patrol duty, they found that the accused was in illegal possession of 10 litres of I.D arrack. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case, since she has got some previous cases. He would further submit that the petitioner is in custody from 30.05.2023 and she is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

vkr petitioner has got 27 previous cases, out of which, 14 cases have been disposed. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.
