This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.147 of 2011 dated 12.03.2011 in a time frame manner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that investigation is almost completed and if three months time is granted by this Court, the investigation would be completed and final report would be filed by the respondent before the concerned Court.

4. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report in accordance with law, under intimation to the petitioner.
