Originally, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest pending investigation in Crime Number not known on the file of the respondent police.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent submitted that the First Information Report has been registered in Crime No.178 of 2023.

3.Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed, with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition by incorporating the crime number.
