O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for the following relief: "to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner in the e-Mail dated 28.04.2025 seeking for opening the portal for payment towards the Application process for the D.Pharm Course and to complete the application process for the academic year 202526 within such time as fixed by this Court." 2.I heard Mr.P.Srinivas for the petitioner and Ms.Saranya representing Mr.M.T.Arunan for the respondent. 3.The petitioner is running B.Sc Nursing course. It also decided to start Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) course. Accordingly, it sought for recognition from the respondent for the academic year 2025-2026 to start the D.Pharm course. The petitioner states that the portal for institutions seeking to commence D.Pharm course was opened only for a period of 10 days. As soon as the petitioner came to know about the time limit, he made out an application, but could not pay the fees. On 28.04.2025, the petitioner requested the respondent to open the portal in order to 2/4

complete the process. The last date was 16.04.2025. As the portal was not opened, he has come forward with the present writ petition. 4.As the petitioner has taken all the efforts and since the application was denied beyond his control, he has sought for the assistance of the respondent to open the portal. This is a decision which the respondent has to take. Already nearly a month has gone by. Hence, there shall be a direction to the respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner made on 28.04.2025 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
