Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated the 24th day of November 2015 within a stipulated period of time.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by Mr.K.Prabhu seeking a limited prayer for a direction to the respondents to consider his pending representation dated 24.11.2015.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that after the petitioner was employed as a temporary Messenger in the office of the third respondent Bank since 6.2.2012 on daily wage basis at the rate of Rs.250/-, even after a lapse of three years, there was no hike. Therefore, the petitioner made a request to increase his wages to Rs.300/-. Immediately after https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the receipt of the representation, he was dismissed from service. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has preferred the aforementioned representation. The said representation has not been, till date, considered in spite of repeated requests.

3. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that after making the representation in the month of November, 2015, within a month, the petitioner has come to this Court. In view of the pendency of the writ petition, the respondents were not able to dispose his representation.

4. This Court, considering the limited prayer, hereby directs the respondents to consider the pending representation of the petitioner on humanatarian grounds and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
