ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court (Special Court), Vellore, to conduct a speedy trial in Spl.C.C.No.6 of 2019 within a stipulated time.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mrs.P.Kritika Kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the trial in Spl.C.C.No.6 of 2019 began on 02.12.2020 with the examination-in-chief of PW1. It is the accused, who sought time for cross-examination of PW1. In such view of the matter, the trial Court is directed to expeditiously complete the trial in Spl.C.C.No.6 of 2019 within six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, provided, the accused cooperates, by cross-examining the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
witnesses on the day they are examined-in-chief, as held by the Supreme Court in Vinod Kumar vs. State of Punjab1.
