Respondent Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue the legal heir certificate of Mr.D.Sambantham who is died on 30.03.2022 and who last resided at No.219A, Paper Mills Road, Perambur, Chennai - 600 011 on the application dated 04.07.2022 filed by the petitioner before the respondent along with the relevant documents after making due enquiries in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondent to issue legal heirship certificate for the deceased D.Sambantham.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that as per the G.O.Ms.NO.478, dated 29.09.2022, the application for issuance of legal heirship certificate had to be applied only through online. Therefore, the application submitted manually has not been considered for issuance of legal heirship certificate.
