Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with the order of detention dated 12.08.2021 passed in Memo No.03/Black Marketing Act/2021 by the third respondent herein and set aside the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's husband Ameeth s/o.Mamooth, aged 39 years, the detenu herein, now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai - 600 066, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] The petitioner is the wife of the detenu viz., Ameeth s/o.Mamooth, aged 39 years. The detenu has been detained by the third respondent by his order in No.03/Black Marketing Act/2021 dated 12.08.2021, holding him to be a "Black Marketeer", as contemplated under section 3(1) r/w section 3(2)(b) of the Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in No.03/Black Marketing Act/2021 dated 12.08.2021, on the file of the third respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.215, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection (E1) Department, dated 06.10.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
