Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in Memo No.221/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 09.08.2021 on the file of the second respondent and set aside the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's husband Vijayanarayanan @ Vijaya s/o.Natarajan, aged 31 years, now confined at Central Prison II, Puzhal, Chennai - 600 066, before this Court and set him at liberty. [Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] The petitioner is wife of the detenu viz., Vijayanarayanan @ Vijaya s/o.Natarajan, aged 31 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in No.221/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 09.08.2021, holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2 (f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in No.221/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 09.08.2021, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.5033, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 28.10.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
